Just got back.
Had lunch with Jonathan, he already left. It was nice. We made fun of small towns and a whole bunch of other things. And everytime he’d ask how things have been or w/e. I was holding on to the necklace so tightly it was leaving little marks on my hand, so I decided to put it on, but I’m still clenching it. I have “Let Her Cry” By Hootie And The Blowfish on repeat. The people I’d like to talk to I can’t. And he’s not texting back and it hurts. Though I suspect that maybe his parents decided to go ahead and take his phone away....
I'm sort of rocking back and forth.
Not quite crying. The necklace clenched in one hand and now I’m crying again. Goshdammit.
I guess I lied,
when I said that he hadn’t hurt me as bad as Brian or Aaron. Because now that he’s gone and I’m not having to be strong, I’m hurting so much. So friggin’ much. It hurt before but….now it’s worse. I knew I was holding the tears but I hadn’t realized that I was holding most of the pain back too.
This heart.
It’s hurting. The heart that’s been broken before. That knows pain, is hurting. I cried for a minute or two and sucked it up because I can’t do this with my parents around, I want to be left alone for a while. I’m somewhat numb now.
